The Urban Bike Project offers classes to support our mission for bicyclists to become more self-sufficient both in bicycle maintenance and transportation. Classes are offered at different points throughout the year (sign up for our mailing list or check the Calendar for upcoming dates). Any of these classes can be arranged as group training for your organization or workplace. Contact us to discuss scheduling and options.
- Basic Mechanics Class: This 8-hour hands-on course teaches how to perform bicycle maintenance and a variety of basic repair tasks.
- Bicycle Commuting 101: Is your company or group interested in learning about commuting by bicycle? We offer Bicycle Commuting 101 as an introduction and practical approach.
- Tire/Tube and Bike Fit Class: Have a group of people interested in bicycling but no idea where to start? Learn the basics of selecting and fitting the right bike and what to do if you get a flat tire while riding.
