Have a bicycle that your no longer use or bike parts that you don’t need anymore? Make a tax deductible donation to Urban Bike Project ! We always accept donations of used bicycles (in any condition), parts and tools and provide the necessary receipts for tax purposes.
Donations can be dropped off during Open Shop hours: every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. If you have questions or need directions, feel free to contact us.
If you are unable to transport your donation, contact us to arrange a pickup. The following information is helpful: Name, phone number, address where bicycles are located and the number and size of bicycles (i.e. 2 kids bikes and 1 adult bike). Pickups usually occur once per month.
Why should I donate?
UBP is supported by generous donations from people like you. We are incorporated as a not-for-profit entity and are recognized by the IRS as an official 501(c)(3) organization! Your support is still needed, as we have many programs to establish. You have the opportunity to support an organization with big dreams for the future of bicycling in Wilmington and it’s surrounding areas.
