We offer a a variety of social rides throughout the spring, summer and fall. Our rides are family-friendly, free, and open to all! They are perfect for beginners, folks new to the area, or experienced riders looking for low-key opportunities to socialize and meet other riders. Due to insurance requirements, all riders must wear a helmet to participate.

Start/End: Urban Bike Project, 1500 N. Walnut Street
Ride with us from our shop in Wilmington to Hagley Museum to participate in their Summer Nights event. Summer Nights events take place every Wednesday evening at Hagley Museum through August, and provide visitors an opportunity to walk or bike the extensive museum property. Bring a picnic meal or purchase food and beverage from local vendors, including Dogfish Head beer and Woodside Farm Creamery ice cream. We’ll ride to Hagley, enjoy an hour to explore the property, then regroup at the entrance for the return trip. Museum entrance will be free for UBP riders.
This route will be on roads. Children accompanied by parents are welcome to join, but please no training wheels or balance bikes. Youth should be capable of completing the miles, have good control of their bicycle, and comfort using brakes safely, or else should be connected to a parent via a trailer, child seat, or tagalong/third wheel.
